Getting up to the top of the cliff will take about 2.5-3 hours depending on the group’s possibilities. The road is quite demanding, some approaches are steep, but the views make it definitely worth to sweat a little bit. The views are outstanding, just look at the pictures below.

At the top there will be time for rest, lunch and admiring the landscape. If we’re lucky, we may see base jumpers jumping off the cliffs, because Kjerag is a very popular place among them. It makes you shudder just by looking. 🙂

On our way back we will visit Månafossen – Moon Waterfall – so you will have unforgettable chance to see it in reality, not only from pictures. It its the 9th largest waterfall in Norway, with 92 meters and it happens to be the biggest one i Rogaland county.

Upon arrival you will have an overview of the magical falls and great possibility for photos.

At the very top there is a famous stone hanging between mountains. If you are a brave one, you will have a possibility to stand on the top of it and take a picture of yourself. Kjerag is often called the king of Lysefjord, because of the fabulous view that stretches from above can not be compared to anything else. When you travel to Kjerag, our guide will draw you into the colourful world of Norway and tell you some extraordinary stories about the Ryfylke region, its inhabitants and as local legends. There are some great places along the way, where you can stop for photos.
